Sauce is very bad but chicken is good

My husband and I picked this up at Costco because he is watching his cholesterol and we were hoping it could become a staple in our house.

However the sauce was SO BAD. Almost airplane food inedible. We ended up washing it off and using tomato sauce to dress the chicken which was actually quite good!

Not a fan of this one

The roasted garlic sauce is pretty mid. I love garlic, but this just has a burnt garlic taste that’s somewhat unpleasant.

More coconut than garlic tasting

We picked this up at Costco and mixed it up with some noodles. This is very much more coconuty than garlic. Very bland, very so-so and we even tried to doctor it up a bit with red pepper flakes. It's just..... it's not great. Wouldn't spend my money on this again.

Sauce

I actually love this dish. It's perfect when I want something on the lighter side. Downsides, I buy it at Costco and it's hit or miss when they have it. Also I wish I could buy the sauce on its own as well. So when it was not in stock at Costco I could still make it

Not worth it

The taste and quantity simply weren’t worth the price. Might be worth it if the cost was cut in half or something. But will not purchase again.

Good chicken

It’s actually pretty good. I eat it with pasta and red pepper flakes. Kind of tastes like chicken Marsala. But I took off 1 star because it’s enough for one serving only. It’s not enough my 2 sons to split, 13 yr and 8 yr. And my 75 yr old mom eats like a bird and still not enough. I have to buy at least 4 to feed all of us. I only weigh 100 lb and needs lots of protein. I think Whole Foods sous vide chicken actually weigh true 14 oz to 16 oz. And Trader Joe’s sous vide is completely 16 oz. This is more like 10 oz.

not good at all.

Went into it thinking it was going to be good. and it was one of the blandest things I have ever put into my mouth. I would save your tastebuds and money. the chicken just fell apart, and the sauce was bland and looked nothing like the packaging.

Additions to Kevin's

The chicken is good if you docter it up. I sauté about 6 mushrooms slices in a separate pan first. Add an additional tablespoon of garlic, a few red pepper leaves and add the mixture to the chicken with the sauce. Serve with brown rice and some decent wine.

Honestly, awful. Would not recommend

This was not great. It didnt look anything like it did on the package. The sauce was fairly bland with a tiny bit of roasted garlic flavor. Definitely not "vibrent". The chicken was also lackluster. It was the texture of canned chicken rather than chicken slices. We will not be getting this again.

A family fav!!!

I am limited on my diet due to food allergies and then have a 2 year old who is beyond picky and this is one of those that work for both my allergies and her picky habits!!! We looooove the, what we call, gravy chicken.
