Keto Garlic Chicken Dip with CruditésKevin’s Roasted Garlic Chicken is delicious as an entrée, and it’s scrumptious as a quick appetizer! Simply chop chicken and aromatics, stir in the roasted garlic sauce, and Keto friendly mascarpone cheese, and serve! It’s that easy! The dip is delicious piped into celery sticks or served with your favorite Crudités (see our Keto tips below).

What You'll Need

  • Kevin’s Natural Foods Roasted Garlic Chicken, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup (4-ounces) mascarpone cheese

  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp Kevin’s Chicken Seasoning

  • Zest from one lemon, 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup chopped dill or combination of favorite herbs

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery

  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Cook It Up!

    Prepare Roasted Garlic Chicken Chicken. Snip the corner of the chicken bag and drain and discard natural broth. Break apart chicken strips by massaging chicken in package before removing. Mince chicken into small pieces. Set aside on cutting board.

    Cut open sauce pouch, and empty into a mixing bowl. Add mascarpone cheese, dijon mustard, turmeric, chicken seasoning, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.

    Note: 1 tsp of ground turmeric is the equivalent of 1 tbsp of fresh grated turmeric.

    Add minced chicken, dill, celery, green onions and parsley. Stir mascarpone and chicken mixture until well combined. Spread on celery sticks or serve with fresh vegetables.

    Why choose mascarpone? Mascarpone cheese is a creamy, milder cheese than cream cheese with much fewer carbs making it a perfect choice for Keto and low carb diets.

    Plus, cream cheese has a much lower fat content (33%) than mascarpone which has between 60% and 75% milk fat.

    Flavor Boost: Toasted almonds, chopped apple, or additional herbs such as such as chives, cilantro, parsley, or tarragon.

    Choose non-starchy vegetables that are low in calories and carbs and high in nutrients. Choose Keto Friendly Crudités with less than 5 grams of net carbs:
    Asparagus (7 spears - 1.9 g), Broccoli (1 cup - 4 g), Cauliflower (1 cup - 3.2 g), Celery (1 cup - 1.4 g.), Cucumber (1 small - 2.3 g), Green beans (1/2 cup - 4 g.), Jicama (1 cup - 5 g), Mini Peppers (3 peppers - 4g), Mushrooms (1 cup - 2g), Radish (20 medium - 1.6 g)

    PALEO TIP
    Exchange the mascarpone cheese for mashed avocado or ½ cup Paleo mayonnaise!

    Note: The chicken, dill, celery, and green onions can be finely chopped in a food processor for a filling similar to deviled eggs or chopped by hand to look like chicken salad sandwich and served as a lettuce wrap.
