Kevin's Natural Foods Roasted Garlic Chicken
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup light cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tsp crushed red pepper
1 Tsp oregano
¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
Fresh basil, chopped
Cook Kevin’s Natural Foods roasted garlic chicken according to package directions.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Return skillet to stovetop and reduce heat to medium-low. Add the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté garlic for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the garlic is just fragrant.
Add the chicken broth to skillet and stir, making sure to scrape up any browned bits of chicken or garlic that may be stuck to the bottom of the skillet.
Add heavy cream and stir gently to incorporate heavy cream into chicken broth. Once liquids are blended, sprinkle grated parmesan into the mixture and gently stir until the cheese has melted.
Bring sauce to a slow simmer over medium-low heat. Add sun-dried tomatoes, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes to cream sauce and stir gently to incorporate ingredients.
Once the sauce is simmering, return the chicken to the skillet.
Top with more Parmesan cheese, basil and crushed red pepper.
Serve immediately with desired sides.
