Refrigeration Technician

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, vessels, valves, and related utility equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues to minimize production downtime.

  • Monitor and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.

  • Conduct daily inspections and operational checks of refrigeration, HVAC, freezer, and utility systems throughout the facility.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, inspections, and compliance documentation within systems.

  • Support equipment installations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.

  • Partner with production, sanitation, quality, and engineering teams to support food safety and operational goals.

  • Follow all GMP, SQF, HACCP, OSHA, and company safety procedures.

  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues and equipment failures to support uninterrupted plant operations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve preventative maintenance programs and equipment performance.

  • Travel between and support multiple production facilities as needed, applying technical expertise to improve processes, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement across both Mariposa and Imperial.

  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certification or associate degree in Refrigeration, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience within food manufacturing, frozen food, dairy, beverage, or other CPG manufacturing environments required.

  • Extensive hands-on experience working with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems required

  • Strong understanding of OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance requirements.

  • RETA CIRO/CARO certification, EPA Universal Certification, or equivalent industrial refrigeration certifications are strongly preferred.

  • Ability to travel between and support multiple production facilities as needed.

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems.

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and freezer environments.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as needed.

Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the Warehouse department and all outbound products to be shipped daily, activity of shipping and receiving specialists, warehouse workers, and inventory, ensuring that all products are delivered to customers on time, all inventories is accounted for, and that supplies are replenished regularly. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and will be hard working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, and flexible. What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the point-person for all inbound and outbound shipments and transfers.

  • Review inbound shipments for food safety requirements and serve as the final say before putting inbound shipments on hold for QA review.

  • Complete packing slips for all outbound shipments.

  • Complete all recordkeeping for inbound shipments.

  • Stage all shipments for outbound deliveries and review paperwork.

  • Put away all inbound receiving orders in correct placements following FIFO.

  • Responsible for warehouse cleanliness.

  • Verify all lot numbers and items numbers for all shipments.

  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and schedule preventative maintenance.

  • Work with manager to plan and meet delivery schedules.

  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.

  • Report defects, accidents, or violation.

  • Send daily end of shift report to Warehouse Manager.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.

  • Prior forklift experience, certification required. Stand up forklift experience is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.

  • Valid driver license.

  • Manages time effectively.

  • Flexibility concerning hours & shifts to accommodate a cyclical business with 24/7 operations.

Kevin’s Natural Foods is seeking a PMO Manager to stand up and operationalize our first Project Management Office (PMO). This role will serve as the initial builder of PMO capabilities: establishing structure, processes, and visibility across critical cross-functional initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Food Safety Specialist

The Food Safety Specialist supports the execution and continuous improvement of food safety and quality programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards. This role is responsible for coordinating testing, monitoring, audits, investigations, and corrective actions while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, high-quality manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate and/or execute Raw Material, WIP, and Finished Good microbiological sampling and assays.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate incoming material inspection and usage decision execution on SAP as assigned.

  • Coordinate and/or execute Environmental Monitoring swabbing as required.

  • Coordinate and/or execute air monitoring and water potability sampling.

  • Coordinate external lab submissions as and when needed.

  • Execute designed validation study protocols in the plant(s) as assigned.

  • Conduct inventory checks and place requests for lab/QA supplies.

  • Coordinate and/or execute internal audits as assigned.

  • Support external audits as needed.

  • Follow up on all non-conformances and corrective actions from internal and external audits as necessary.

  • Coordinate and schedule Third-party calibrations and validations as needed.

  • Conduct relevant data entry, trending and tracking as assigned.

  • Support Food Safety related investigations where necessary (e.g., customer complaints)

  • Support the CAPA Program.

  • Support with Material Quality Notifications (MQN).

  • Support Material Risk Assessments (MRA) and Packaging Risk Assessments (PRA) development.

  • Support Raw Material Specification development.

  • Support Food Safety and other trainings as necessary.

  • Support with Mars gap assessments, technical audits and non-compliances.

  • Support and/or execute special projects or other assignments as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field
  • Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Thrive in a start-up environment.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Prior experience in food environment a plus.

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish beneficial.

Senior Accountant - Cost/Manufacturing

The Senior Accountant will support the Assistant Controller with all accounting functions, focused on period-end close, accounting and financial reporting, financial statements, account reconciliations, and overall support for all daily accounting operations. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist heavily with period-end close and preparation of corporate financial statements.

  • Prepare, record and review periodic journal entries as well as ad hoc entries as required.

  • Prepare and maintain periodic balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist with the period-end close financial reporting commentary and analysis.

  •  Recommend improvements to daily and monthly processes to improve efficiency in daily tasks as well as in the new SAP system.

  • Complete regulatory reporting as required.

  • Assist with account and cost center mapping analysis and review as needed for departments throughout the company.

  •  Prepare and compile the required support for all regulatory audits.

  •  Perform GL maintenance within the SAP system.

  •  Assist with Mars related financial statement uploads and validation.

  • Consistently manage requests from the team at Mars, including but not limited to quarterly reports, tax-related requests, and annual reporting.

  • Prepare and maintain SOPs and desk procedures for all accounting functions assigned.

  •  Research various accounting issues using the Mars Finance Manual as well as GAAP.

  • Maintain compliance with current internal controls and future implementations.

  • Assist with the broker commission accruals and payments on a period basis.

  • Assist with departmental projects as required by the team.

  • Operate under general direction; set priorities and make decisions impacting close timelines, financial statement accuracy, and compliance.

  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

 

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2+ years of cost or accounting experience, with a demonstrated track record in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, inventory valuation methodologies (standard and actual costing), BOMs, process orders, and allocations

  • Experience with outsourced / contract manufacturing and co-manufacturer cost structures

  • Advanced Excel skills; ability to build and maintain complex models and reports

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to cross-functional and senior audiences

HR & Safety Coordinator, 2nd Shift

2nd shift Monday-Friday 11:00AM- 7:30PM

The HR & Safety Coordinator will be onsite at one of our Stockton manufacturing facilities. This person will support daily HR operations, help foster a safe and respectful workplace, and assist in creating a positive and productive culture across the facility.

This position is for our 2nd shift Monday-Friday 11:00AM- 7:30PM

This role is 100% onsite in Stockton, CA. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build trusted relationships with associates and help address any questions related to policies, benefits, and/or HR procedures
  • Support new-hire training and onboarding
  • Partner with our third-party staffing agencies for successful hiring and record keeping
  • Review and process timecards and attendance records for payroll accuracy
  • Track and file corrective actions, employee statements, safety incidents, and compliance documents
  • Complete and file incident reports and employee safety statements
  • Support and track training for workplace safety programs
  • Partner with facility leadership to reinforce a culture of safety
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or assist with special HR projects and initiatives to support the facility and company-wide objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
