Not a fan

First and last time I will try this. Chicken has a weird texture and doesn’t taste like chicken or anything for that matter. The sauce is just a chimichurri sauce with no real flavor other than what tasted like cat food. It was missing the flavor of real chicken, the brightness of real lime and freshness of real cilantro.

Delish!

First time trying a Kevin’s entree and we loved it. Husband is keto and I’m low-sugar, GF, and corn free as I’m trying to get to the root of an autoimmune condition. It was so nice that this was something we both could eat. I also added green peppers and onion to the pan, and made a side dish of sweet potato fries. Perfect meal! We both love cilantro and the flavor was so very good. It was certainly enough for 2 people, especially with the extra veggies.

Awful

The chicken was somehow pressed together like a chicken nugget but still have some grain. The meat seemed very low quality. I was expecting this to be very good but it was awful. Do not waste your money on this.

Tastes Great

I was a little nervous reading some of the reviews. I added my touch to the dish. Heat a little olive oil, sauté some red onion and green peppers. Add the chicken, and let it simmer. Add the sauce packet and let it heat thoroughly. Add some rice, I used Spanish rice and some black beans on the side. I enjoyed it!

Disappointing

Aside from the fact that the portions are misleading, I didn’t think it was good. There is too much lime in the sauce, not at all close to chimichurri, it’s really a weird combination of flavors.

Tasty and healthy but you get 2/3 of what they say you do

Since I'm tracking macros, I weigh my food on a food scale before consuming. I've had almost all of Kevin's meals, and every single one of them shorted me based on the nutrition label. It states 5oz is a serving and there are approximately three servings. This is categorically false. There are closer to two servings in every container. I like having a serving and a half for extra protein and satiation, and I am left with about three ounces of food after I portion out 7.5 oz. If it truly were three servings, these meals would be perfect for me. Instead, I feel shorted and lied to. Very disappointing.

Where’s the flavor?

Honestly it could be better if it says cilantro lime chicken, it has no flavor, not even SALT. It’s actually pretty bad, the chicken itself is just disgusting and adding the “chimichurri” makes no difference. It’s just oil and herbs. Waste of money!!

AWESOME CILANTRO LIME CHICKEN!!

I tried this for the first time today and WOW Im blown away by the taste & versatility of what u can make with it.

I made Cilantro Lime Chicken Linguine. Sauteed the Chicken w Mushrooms & Chopped Baby Asparagus tips added to cooked Linguine. It was fabulous!!

I like that the chicken & sauces are separate. Makes it easy to pack for lunch at work for a healthier meal than settling for fast food or expensive delivery.

Going to try Kevins Thai Coconut Chicken fixed with their Cilantro Lime Rice and adding some sauteed pea pods next.

THANKU KEVINS!! I appreciate the portable convenience, delicious taste & good price of ur products. Also the fact many of ur items have no milk or dairy used. (In some there are.)

Please add more delicious items without Dairy or with Almond or Coconut milk/cream for those ppl allergic to Dairy. Chivken Tikka/Butter Chicken is one Im looking for & anything with Ginger added. Great job & Keep em coming!

Tacos!

Do yourself a favor and make this into tacos- they are super easy to make and really good when you don’t have the time to make some from scratch. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces, brown them in a frying pan and then add the sauce as directed. Serve on a small flour tortilla, topped with chopped white onion, chopped avocado, chopped cilantro and sour cream. You’re welcome!
One pouch makes about 4 small tacos.
