1. Protein-Rich Foods

Protein-rich foods play a crucial role in maintaining overall health and well-being. Protein helps build and repair muscles, keeps the immune system strong, and gives energy throughout the day. Mickala recommends keeping protein-rich foods on hand. She loves the convenience of Kevin’s Natural Foods chicken or beef entrees! Having tuna packs and protein-rich pasta on hand is a must. Banza is a great option for a protein rich pasta.

2. Fruits & Vegetables

Fruits and veggies are packed with vitamins and minerals that help us stay healthy and feel our best. Eating colorful fruits and veggies everyday is like giving our bodies a shield against sickness. They make our skin glow, help us see clearly, and keep our stomachs happy. Mickala recommends keeping frozen fruits and veggies on hand at all times for a quick and healthy meal.

Nuts and seeds contribute to good heart health, are rich in antioxidants, and support our immune system. Keep nuts on hand for a healthy snack and chia seeds for smoothies. Oh, and don’t forget about hemp seeds! These are perfect to add to oatmeal, smoothies, or salads!
