Mexican Style Grilled Shrimp Salad

Flavored with Kevin’s Tomatillo Taco Sauce, the shrimp is packed with a garlicky and slightly spicy zing. This salad is sure to please your taste buds especially when you realize how easy it is to prepare. Not only does this taste good but it’s also good for you!

What You'll Need

  • 1 pkg Kevin’s Tomatillo Taco Sauce

  • 1 lb large sized shrimp, shelled and deveined

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and thinly chopped

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, washed and halved

  • 2 garden radishes, washed and thinly sliced

  • 1 large avocado, thinly sliced

Cook It Up!

    Start with thoroughly washing all veggies and cut them accordingly.

    This can all be done beforehand for an even quicker cook time!

    Take your shelled and deveined shrimp and marinate it in Kevin’s Tomatillo Taco Sauce for at least 15 min and up to 2 hours.

    Make sure not to marinate your shrimp for too long, the acid in the sauce can begin to cook the shrimp if left for over 2 hours.

    Once your shrimp is done marianting, place a saute pan at medium-high heat sprayed or drizzled with whatever oil you prefer to keep the shrimp from sticking. Place your shrimp and closely watch them as they cook fast. Once they become pink and opaque about 2-3 minutes for each side, remove them.

    Don’t waste any sauce! Cover shrimp with remaining marinade for a super flavorful saute!

    Once all your shrimp is grilled to perfection, plate your salad; romaine on the bottom with shrimp, avocado, cherry tomatoes and radishes on top. Drizzle shrimp with any remaining sauce from the pan. Serve and Enjoy!
