Needs revision

I love Kevin’s and will continue to support this brand and everything it stands for. Everything I have had is delicious… I’m not a picky eater and rarely throw out food but the pesto sauce missed the mark pretty badly. We tried to doctor it up but ended up only having a few bites before tossing it. Please consider going back to the drawing board on this one- it has potential to be great!

A rare miss!

I bought this from Costco last weekend thinking, how could it miss?
The pesto, that is the miss. The chicken and pasta were both great, texture was as I expected. However the “sauce” killed the dish. Pesto should be bright, summery and balanced. The chunks of minced garlic overpowered the too large pieces of basil and failed to join together as a cohesive blend. Unappetizing and leftovers will not be saved. This recipe is in desperate need of a revamp.

A bit off

First the positives: The chicken is great - so tender. The pasta is fantastic. Excellent texture. The negative: The pesto was pretty bad. I added garlic and some fresh lemon juice. We topped it all with fresh parm and pine nuts. Just couldn’t make it right.

Tasty Pesto Dish

I never knew Kevin's had Frozen family meals until yesterday. I could not wait to try the pesto chicken meal. So quick to make and super tasty! We added a little kale, artichoke hearts, and pine nuts. I cannot wait to buy this again and truly hope they come out with additional flavors for the Frozen family meals.

Disappointed pesto flavor doesn’t taste at all like pesto. It was ok. A little salty.

Unexpected

Super easy to make. I wasn’t sure when I picked this up at Costco how it would be, but I do love pesto so figured it was worth a shot. It was a very filling meal, and I put it on top of cilantro lime rice, which I also got from Costco. This would easily make three portions.
