Chicken Burrito Bowl

Once again, this company has nailed it. As a person with celiac disease, traveling can be stressful when looking for something to eat. I can’t just stop at McDonald’s like everyone else does (I probably wouldn’t if I didn’t have celiac disease; just trying to illustrate my point). Today I discovered Kevin’s Chicken Burrito Bowl and Orange Chicken. I can’t sing the praises of these products enough. They’re safe for me, they’re NEVER over seasoned, and they don’t taste like the container they’re packaged in. You have no idea what it means to be able to eat safe, healthy, delicious food that’s easily heated up in a microwave. My husband does not have celiac disease and he loves these too. They allow us to travel freely (well, we have to book rooms with a microwave, and so far, casinos are they only hotels without) and have a healthy meal at the end of a long travel day. Kevin’s truly makes our lives easier because we don’t have to have that awkward and frustrating conversation with wait staff in so many restaurants.

Honestly, I hate frozen dinners. I don't buy them. I usually grab a couple to keep handy for my husband. I stumbled across the chicken burrito bowl while looking for something high in protein that he might eat. I was super impressed that the ingredients list didn't look like an inventory list for a chemist and that I recognized everything listed on the side of the box. Not being interested in much that was in my refrigerator, I decided to give this burrito bowl a try. It was an absolute win. It tasted like real food that I would make at home. I could taste the ingredients instead of some gloppy mess of mushy, unidentifiable sauce and rubbery protein. It had real flavor. I'll only be buying this brand going forward, thanks to its commitment to fresh, natural ingredients! Thanks for making "chicken" chicken again!

This is my favorite one so far. I bring a little sour cream to top it with and it is delicious. Quick, easy, healthy, and filling. 5 stars!

I took a chance as chicken can be so bad in a frozen meal - pleasantly surprised! It was REALLY good! At first I was disappointed in the portion size - but I thought, hey that helps me with smaller portion goals! One can always add avocado or more beans - but the FLAVOR was YUMMY! Hoping to see Kevin's REMAIN AVAILABLE!!!

I added some extra cheddar cheese to it after the first microwaving. It turned out great!

I’m my quest to eat healthier foods and cut out processed foods it’s become increasingly hard to find convenient lunch options that I can have on a strict 30 minute lunch break. I saw these for the first time in my grocery store last week and took a chance. I was blown away by the quality and flavor. The bowl was plenty of food also. I’m so grateful to see these better options in my store and I will be a regular customer.

I didn’t have the highest expectations since it’s a frozen meal but this blew me out of the water. It tasted like something you’d get from a Mexican restaurant. It was so good and the chicken didn’t taste rubbery like other frozen dinners.

I'm not a huge frozen meal fan, but this was good. Also, good ratio of sauce to chicken, rice and veggies. Would buy again.
