Kevin’s All-Purpose Seasoning
4 LBS Boneless Pork Shoulder Butt
1/2 CUPS Cilantro
1/2 CUPS Yellow Onion
1 Large Lime
1 Large Avocado
Cook It Up!
Start by trimming the excess fat off the pork. Then season it with Kevin’s All-Purpose Seasoning or salt & pepper.
Place pork into your slow cooker with Kevin’s Tomatillo Taco Sauce. If using a pressure cooker, cook on the “Meat/Stew” setting (this should take ~45 minutes). If using a slow cooker, cook on HIGH for 7 hours or on LOW for 9 hours.
When pork is finished cooking, remove it from your slow cooker and into a large serving bowl. Shred the pork into smaller pieces with two forks.
Add fresh lime juice to the remaining sauce in your slow cooker, mix well, and add on top of the pork.
Top with chopped onions, fresh cilantro, and sliced avocado. Serve with lime wedges. This recipe is perfect for lettuce wrap tacos, cauliflower rice burrito bowls, or simply served on a bed of greens and veggies.
