Tomatillo Taco Sauce

Great flavor with a little kick. Reminds me of the sauce on enchiladas I had in a local everything-from-scratch Mexican restaurant in New Mexico.

I purchased this sauce from Kevin’s site after trying the Lime and Cilantro dinner because i love a tomatillo sauce. This sauce did not disappoint! Oh my gosh, it hits on all cylinders. The flavors are so intense and brings chicken breast to a whole new level. It’s not too spicy. Just a perfect sauce. Next will be taco meat. My pantry will be stocked with these sauces.

The sauce can be used for tacos, rice, and pretty much anything. It is as good as the Taco Sauce!

This is hands down my favorite sauce for free tacos and enchiladas. I mix shredded chicken with it make taquitos too! The flavor profile is so bright and has just the right amount of heat from the peppers.

I’ve pretty much used normal taco seasoning all my life until I found this!

I have used this in a taco casserole. I used elk meat with this added corn , black beans and layered it with protein tortillas spread light sour cream , added meat mix, mozzarella, tortilla repeat. I ended with a tortilla sour cream and cheddar cheese. Delish and better with each day.

I'm not the hugest tomatillo fan, so [unfortunately] this was the very last Kevin's sauce I tried -- much to my dismay, because it is actually my favorite of all of the sauces. It's a perfectly mild accompaniment to the likes of ground chicken and I will make two or three pounds at a time (with as many accompanying sauce packs) for an easy, reheatable lunch or dinner that lasts throughout the week. Your mileage may of course vary, but even if tomatillo isn't necessarily your favorite flavor motif I'd highly recommend giving this a shot. As far as another reviewer saying it is "too hot", I didn't find it to be spicy at all, and am wondering if we are even reviewing the same product?

There is no indication of heat on this package but it is very hot sauce so I had to throw it out. Finding this problem on a regular basis: no indication of heat yet the product is too hot to eat. I give feedback in every case since it is money out of my pocket for something I cannot eat
